The Network Support Services (NSS) team provides data, voice network infrastructure, and user management supporting over 201 locations, with over 140,000 users, and utilizing more than 100,000+ computers and other devices. Services provided include data and voice copper and fiber cabling, wireless design and installation coordination, enterprise data backup, enterprise IT Security, school safety radios, Voice over Internet Protocol phone system, e-mail/collaboration, firewall security and management, core network infrastructure, enterprise and school/office level server operations, video conferencing gateway, user management, wide/local area network connectivity, external connectivity to Baltimore County Government, CCBC, and other entities, as well as the Federal eRate reimbursement management.
